  • Mule Me Baby: Vanilla, Ginger & Vibes

Wednesdays deserve a little kick and Swami Node knows exactly how to deliver. Featured on DSI After Dark, this week’s Happy Hour moment blends flavor, flirtation, and a Prince classic to get you through the midweek drag.

“Mule Me Baby” is Swami’s take on a vanilla and ginger mule that leans smooth and playful. Made with Tito’s, Vernors, and Cream Soda, it’s the kind of cocktail that’s bold, bubbly, and just sweet enough to set the mood right especially when Do Me Baby (click to hear the full original track by Prince) is spinning in the background.

The flavor profile of Mule Me Baby is layered but totally doable; starting with the crisp bite of Vernors ginger ale that delivers a familiar, spicy zing without overpowering. The cream soda smooths the edges with soft vanilla notes, adding a mellow sweetness that rounds out the sip. Tito’s gives it a clean, neutral base that lets the other elements shine without distraction. What makes this mule stand out is its balance which is neither too sharp nor too sweet, and it lingers just long enough to leave a warm, slightly creamy finish. It hits all the right notes when it comes to smoothness, creativity, and overall drinkability! Sounds perfect for sipping slow and savoring every vibe, Right?!

Here’s how to make it and a quick word of advice: don’t shake this one like Swami does playfully. Let the bubbles do their thing. Stir gently to keep the fizz alive, UNLIKE how Swami demonstrates in the video lol.

  • High Notes Strain Review

When I lit up this 1g Blaze Joint featuring Otter Popz x Jealousy, I wasn’t sure what kind of ride I was in for but let me tell you, it delivered.

The aroma hit first with this piney, very citrus forward nose that felt both refreshing and wild like eating oranges in the Everglades. It wasn’t overpowering, but it lingered just enough to keep me curious. For terpene profile, I’d give it a 3 out of 5.

Now the flavor? Smooth and piney on the inhale, but what really caught me was the creamy finish which was unexpected, bold, and flavorful with just enough depth to make it memorable. That’s a strong 4 out of 5 for me.

The effects brought a chill, euphoric high that kept me level and in the zone. I could’ve worked on a creative project, knocked out some homework, or just vibed solo on the couch. It’s got versatility, and for that, I’m giving it a 4 out of 5.

Where this joint really stood out was the burn quality hands down. I’m talking about a clean, slow-burning, tight white ash, and perfect little reclaim ring at the tip of the joint. I didn’t have to babysit it at all. Definitely a 5 out of 5 here.

As for presentation , the packaging was lowkey and solid. A black, childproof container with a bold “Blaze” logo. Nothing wild, but it did the job. That gets a 3 out of 5 in my book.

    Pairing Potential

I’d pair this strain with a chilled Riesling simply due to the crisp citrus and earthy tones vibing perfectly with that piney freshness. On the flip side, a rich Chardonnay would bring buttery depth that’d play off that creamy finish and elevate the whole experience.

    Bonus Vibe Check

After this joint? I was craving a well done burger and a cold beer. This one’s ideal for a productive evening or a laid back night. Whether you’re sparking solo or pairing it with food, Otter Popz x Jealousy hits that sweet spot between mellow and motivated.
